Pre-School Group
Our Pre-school group is situated in the annexe at the rear of the school. A child may be admitted in the term after he/she has had their third birthday.
Having a school based playgroup has the advantages of building relationships of home and school prior to the children reaching school age, and for the children means a much easier transition into full time school. Please note that admission to our Pre-school does not guarantee a place in Reception at school; this is determined by the Local Authority's admission procedures.
Children receive five sessions before they enter reception. The group is led by Mrs Claire Covill and has three qualified members of staff as well as extra help from parent helpers.

Pre-School OFSTED Inspection
In December 2005, our Playgroup successfully underwent an OFSTED Inspection at the same time as the Primary School. In March, 2009 both School and Pre-School were inspected again and were both graded as 'outstanding'. A link to the combined report can be found on our page entitled 'General'.
