Between 17th- 21st October, Lionel Walden joined other schools across the county in 'Friendship Run Week'.
Children enjoy being outside with their friends, so the idea of the Friendship Run was to give them extra motivation to be active by encouraging them to take on a running challenge with friends. On Monday 17th October, twelve girls from across Years 4 and 5 represented us in a colour run, scavenger hunt and some hoopla!
On Friday 21st October, the whole school joined in the challenge to set a partnership record by running for at least 10 minutes on the same day.
Thank you to Miss Bennett, our P.E. Subject Lead, who helped to organise the event and to all our teaching staff and pupils for their participation.
Lots of fun and friendship were had by all.
