Happy Chinese New Year 2017 - the Year of the Rooster!
 
The New Year, which is also known as the Spring Festival, has begun.  The festivities usually start the day before the New Year and continue until the Lantern Festival which is the fifteenth day of the New Year.
 
Our pupils have enjoyed learning about the Chinese New Year and hearing the story of how the years became named after the animals.  They have participated in activities such as dragon dancing, making lanterns and sampling Chinese food...
