Day 5

It was an early start this morning - everyone was woken at 6am to shower, pack and have breakfast before departing at 7.20am for the ferry terminal in Yarmouth.

Again, we sat up on the sun deck to get a good view and to take some photographs of our approach into Lymington. We enjoyed our journey through the New Forest.  We stopped for lunch at Fleet Services on the M3.  The traffic was quite heavy on the M25 but we enjoyed watching the planes taking off from Heathrow. We had another stop at South Mimms and had a drink and food before starting the final leg home, arriving back at school at approximately 5pm.

The children had a fantastic week. The weather was not always what we had hoped for but it did not prevent us from enjoying the planned activities. The staff were very proud of how all the children conducted themselves - wherever we went, people made comments about their behaviour and manners.

The children may be a little tired now due to the busy schedule (and some late nights) but it was worth it!
