Doddington's 70th Horticultural Show

23rd July 2016
Our school was very pleased to be asked to contribute to Doddington's 70th Horticultural Show which was held on Saturday in the Village Hall.

Each pupil, including those at Pre-School, were asked to make a piece of bunting.  Each class then assembled their bunting into a class piece so that they could be used to decorate the entire hall.  It looked magnificent!  Prizes were awarded by the committee, together with a School Cup - these will be announced in the first assembly of the new school year in September.

The Show itself contained a wide range of exhibits of home-grown produce, flower arrangements, cakes, photography, art and crafts.

Our Headteacher, Mrs Barnard-Taylor, presented the trophies, shields and certificates to the winning exhibitors.
