Four of our pupils competed as a team in the annual Cambridgeshire Year 5 Maths Challenge.
The event, which is organised by the Local Authority's Maths Advisory Team, attracts entries from over a hundred schools across the county. Our team competed against eleven other primary school in our area. They had many challenges to work on which tested their calculation, problem-solving, estimation and visual memory skills.
Our team worked very well together and came fourth overall with only half a point separating the teams coming second, third and fourth! They were awarded a certificate of commendation for the 'Estimation' round.
Well done to everyone involved!
