Reception - Teaching English Workshop - Thursday 25th May
We welcomed parents, grandparents and Aunties for our Reception workshop this morning.
We started with a presentation given by Mrs Bayes and Miss Billimore, Reception Class Teachers, about what drives our curriculum and how we use The Write Stuff to teach English to our youngest pupils.
This was followed by a practical workshop where parents and grandparents joined in with their child in a wide range of activities, both indoors and outdoors, that promote all aspects of our English curriculum.
Our ducklings had hatched on Wednesday so they made an appearance for us all to handle.
Lots of fun and learning was had by all!
