This afternoon, Class 7 performed for the whole school, and for their parents this evening, a range of molly dances.

Led by the Ouse Washes Molly Dancers, who have been coming into our school for several years now, our Year 5 pupils learnt about its origins, sang and dramatised stories of the local area.

"I enjoyed performing in front of the whole school and our parents."

"I was amazed we could learn the dances ourselves.  It was great fun and my favourite dance was the Crosshand Polka!"

"I enjoyed taking part in molly dancing... I loved listening to the stories and learning the dances.  Even watching it is exciting!"
