Careers Convention

14th October 2015
Class 8 pupils travelled by coach to Cromwell Community College to attend a Careers Convention.
On arrival, we went into the large sports hall where we were split into four groups.  There were representatives from many businesses and colleges around the hall.  We were split into four groups and each of our groups visited the different stalls where we found out about the careers we might be interested in when we are older.  We had the opportunity to ask questions and each time we did, we were given a star to encourage us to participate.  This was a competition to see who asked the most questions.  There were three winners from our school.
The Careers Convention was very interesting and it has helped to extend our knowledge of careers we may consider in the future.  We would recommend that this event continues each year for Year 6 pupils.
