Remembrance Assembly

News

9th November 2018

This morning, we joined together for an assembly to mark Remembrance Day and it being one hundred years since the end of World War I.

Children brought poppies, paintings and poems to share with everyone.  During this week, the children have been learning about Remembrance, the symbol of the poppy and the reason we wear them.

On Sunday, many of our pupils will be involved in local Services of Remembrance, as part of their Scout and Guide groups.
