It's Science Week!
Every year, our pupils report that Science Week is a highlight of our school calendar. The timetable is filled with exciting experiments and lots of hands-on learning.
We thoroughly enjoy having visitors in school - this year we have welcomed Fossils Galore, Lion Learners, the Raptor Centre, Anglian Water and Mad Science. Our Year 5 pupils also visited Cromwell Community College to take part in a Forensics Day!
Thank you and well done to all pupils who took part in the Science Homework Challenge - to design a playground of the future! The photographs below show some of the winning entries! First, second and third prizes were awarded to each category (Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, Lower Key Stage 2 and Upper Key Stage 2) and many Certificates of Commendation were also given to pupils. All of the entries were of a very high standard!
Thank you to Mrs Bayes for organizing this event and ensuring it is a great success each year!
