World Book Day 2023
All pupils and staff were invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character or wearing pyjamas along with their favourite story.
The day started with a whole school assembly including a guess the character quiz. Two members of our Year 6 read the story ‘Six Dinner Sid’ to everyone. Thank you Jessica and Lily.
Throughout the day, our Year 5 and 6 pupils popped into our other classes to share and read stories. Children spent time talking about the story, thinking about the actions of the characters and describing the settings.
All pupils took part in a range of activities related to developing our love of reading.
A lot of fun and learning was had by all!
