Year 6 Kick Ash Programme

News

24th March 2017

As part of our planned work for PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education) and Science, our Year 6 pupils took part in the 'Kick Ash' programme.

This is organized by the PSHE Service for schools in Peterborough and Cambridgeshire and involves students from a local secondary school, who have been trained as mentors, coming into school to work with our pupils, highlighting the reasons why some young people choose to start smoking and how not to succumb to peer pressure but to remain 'smoke free'.

Parents were also invited to join their children for part of the session.
