Internet Safety Day took place on Tuesday 10th February 2026. This is an annual event that raises awareness of internet safety, particularly for young people. This year's focus was on the safe use of Artifical Intelligence, with the children learning about the benefits and dangers associated with the ever-increasing use of AI. The children took part in a live lesson to celebrate this national event.
We were fortunate to once again work alongside 20Twenty Productions to incorpate this event into an Internet Safety Week amongst the other primary schools in our Fenland cluster. The children collaborated to create an informational film on being safe online, incorporating the strapline, 'Online Voices, Kind Choices'. During the week, Year 5 were supported by a graphic designer to enter a poster competition, whilst also working with award-winning Poet, Joshua Seigal to create a poem based around making safe choices online. The week culminated in a special Internet Safety Week quiz, where Year 5 parents were invited to share some of the learning from the week with the children, before competing in a special quiz based around making good decisions online.
We would like to thank 20Twenty Productions for their continued support in providing memorable experiences for the children.
