Year 5 had an unforgettable camping experience on the school field, filled with laughter, learning and adventure. The weather stayed dry for the evening, allowing everyone to enjoy outdoor activities before the light rain arrived in the early hours. Highlights included delicious pizza making with Bev, where pupils created their own tasty toppings. Thank you to Alice and the Scouts for helping us to learn essential fire-lighting skills and safety. Tent building was a fun challenge, followed by a cosy campfire where songs were shared and smores devoured. Throughout the evening, there were plenty of games, including energetic speed stacking races, a round of curling, and some hilarious “Would You Rather?” questions. Lots of fun was had by all, making it a night to remember!
