Our Reception pupils celebrated Diwali this week and discovered lots of information about the religious festival of light. They also learnt why it is important to people of the Hindu and Sikh religions around the world and for the children and people in our community.
Pupils took part in traditional dance, painting diya lamps, creating beautiful rangoli patterns, making an edible sparkler and listened to the story of Rama and Sita.
