Year 1 visit to St Mary's Church, Doddington
As a part of our learning about Christianity, Year 1 visited our local church today. In particular, we have been looking at how Christian people celebrate their religion.
Richard, Jenny and Elizabeth, from the Open the Book team, showed us around the church explaining all the different features and local history. A huge thank you to them for sharing their extensive knowledge.
During the visit, the children completed a treasure hunt spotting lots of different features.
