Year 6 Assembly - Thursday 9th November 2023
Year 6 performed their World War II assembly for parents and Key Stage 2 pupils in school. We were amazed how much they had learned this half term. They took us on a tour of what it was like to live during that time. They took us back in time and told us about the war, the air raids, rationing and being an evacuee. At one point, we even heard the air raid siren. They ended the assembly with some beautiful singing. A fabulous effort Year 6!
Following the assembly, parents were welcomed in to the classroom to join with their child creating a piece of artwork which shows the skyline of London during the Blitz.
