International Week - a celebration of diversity
During International Week, each class, including Pre-School, looks in more depth at a specific country and its culture. This gives the children a chance to develop a deeper understanding of a particular county and its society. This covered physical and human aspects of the country's geography and a variety of curriculum-based activities were planned in order to provide an engaging and interesting week of learning. Throughout the week, children learnt about music, art, culture, languages and food!
The following countries were studied:
Pre-School - England
Reception - England
Year 1 - Australia
Year 2 - Italy
Year 3 - Brazil
Year 4 - Kenya
Year 5 - Greece
Year 6 - Costa Rica
The work was enjoyed by pupils and staff alike!
