Year 3 Writing Workshop - Thursday 15th June
We welcomed parents of our Year 3 pupils for our writing workshop this morning.
We started with a presentation given by Mr Abey, Headteacher, about what drives our English writing curriculum and our 'Big Ideas' in English. The different stages of the writing lesson were explained including the three zones of writing and the expectations at the end of the year.
This was followed by a practical workshop where parents joined in with the children in a writing lesson. They completed the different learning chunks which will then be used to inform a piece of independent writing.
Much fun and learning was had by all!
