For their final Class Assembly, our Year 6 pupils performed 'Mystery at Magpie Manor' set in the roaring 20's.
Magpie Manor is in a great state of repair and Lord and Lady Pica must take action to save their crumbling manor house. The bank manager and his bumbling assistants come up with a plan to sell the family silver but, as the family and famous guests arrive for the auction ball, the family heirloom disappears. Inspector Spectre and Agatha Christie are on to the case!
Our Year 6 pupils thoroughly enjoyed performing to their family members and other classes. They sang the songs with great enthusiasm, danced a version of the Charleston and looked the part in their costumes which included feather boas, flapper dresses and fedora hats.
Well done, Year 6 - a very entertaining assembly! You all performed so well!
