Year 2 Class Assembly - Thursday 9th February
Year 2 have been learning about The Great Fire of London. They investigated historical facts including when and how the fire started, how it spread and how it was eventually stopped. We were introduced to historical figures such as Samuel Pepys and Christopher Wren. They sang some beautiful songs and performed a beautiful dance depicting the events of the Great Fire.
Parents then joined their children in the classroom to take part in an art activity where they used oil pastels to depict the London skyline ablaze.
Well done Year 2!
