Year 3 Assembly - Thursday 2nd February
Year 3 shared their learning about the Romans to parents and grandparents. We watched Roman roads under construction and a century of marching soldiers. We were then transported to a grand villa of wealthy Romans preparing for a visit from the Emperor Claudius. They ended the assembly with a sing all about the Romans complete with beautiful singing and actions.
Parents and grandparents were then invited into the classroom to spend time participating in an activity along with their children. They worked together to create a Roman mosaic.
