As part of Literacy and Music, Years 1 and 2 have been have engaged with Britten Sinfonia, studying the text 'The Tale of the Whale' and learning how to bring the story to life with music and movement.  We then welcomed the orchestra into school to perform the story so that the children could take part in a live performance. The performance was also watched by Years 3 & 4.  The whole performance was magical and the children thouroughly enjoyed listening and taking part in it.  What a special way to bring a book alive!
